Your Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Zodiac Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm within the community. Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions before the title's launch, to players forming firm views on the entire roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting unique designs that highlight their personalities, one idea naturally: What's the best way to link this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram much more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Remain on the friendly side of either and enjoy a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, each the creature and a Taurus are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a strong opinion – will defend their position to the end. What about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed love of snacks. Several previous Pokédex entries mention their craving for tasty tree sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it everything, which is true Taurus energy.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, providing an endless stream of gossip to those who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to envision Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also mentions its ability to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which sounds very like a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

Cancer is widely considered as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for often getting wrapped up in their emotions. Per the official info, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous quantity of energy, but it's too much for Manectric to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its ability to create a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

Leo – Super Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Besides the fact that it would be far too obvious, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just went viral for being too fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the identical energy a Lion offers to the scene. Starmie is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a show, albeit for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly critical is clearly mirrored across this Pokémon’s whole lineage, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic creature, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Libras who would likely appreciate Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to worry more about others.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Abandoned as a doll, it became sentient through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can imagine.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to predict calamities in advance? That gives the exact same vibe as a Goat, who often consistently believe they’re correct. The thing is, much like a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is most like a flame symbol – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire typing matches perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general intimidating aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs negative energy and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
