A deputy chief prosecutor said, “Legal teams have worked at length to support a thorough and intricate investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.” Scope of the Investigation These allegations come after what police called a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital. Spencer will appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on 20 January. List of Offences The charging documents outline the forty-five sexual offences comprise: Fifteen counts of sexual assault. Seventeen counts of penetrative assault. Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen. One count of attempted penetrative assault.
